2017 (MMXVII) is the current year and the year that Marvel: Contest of Champions will celebrate its third anniversary. It is also the year that the game reached a landmark 100 Champions.
2017 is also the year that Netmarble will take over control of Marvel: Contest of Champions from Kabam, due to Netmarble's acquisition of Kabam's Vancouver studio in December 2016.[1]
