Mastery Cores are things used to unlock Mastery points. There are many variants and even Class-specific variants.
Variants[]
Stony Mastery Core[]
Stony Mastery Cores are said to be "chunks of the Battlerealm". They can be bought for 
135 Units or can be found in special Event Quests, such as Mystery in the Microrealms, where they were introduced.
Carbonadium Mastery Core[]
Carbonadium Mastery Cores can be found as a completion reward for Polar Opposites and they can be bought for 550 Units.
Class-specific Mastery Cores[]
Class-specific Mastery Cores were added in Update 4.0 to coincide with the Class-specific Masteries. Each Class Mastery must be unlocked with 5 of its corresponding Mastery Cores.
Cosmic Mastery Core[]
Cosmic Mastery Cores are Mastery Cores used for unlocking the Utilty Mastery, Cosmic Awareness.
Mutant Mastery Core[]
Mutant Mastery Cores are Mastery Cores used for unlocking the Offense Mastery, Mutagenesis.
Mystic Mastery Core[]
Mystic Mastery Cores are Mastery Cores used for unlocking the Utility Mastery, Mystic Dispersion.
Science Mastery Core[]
Science Mastery Cores are Mastery Cores used for unlocking the Defense Mastery, Serum Science.
Skill Mastery Core[]
Skill Mastery Cores are Mastery Cores used for unlocking the Offense Mastery, Pure Skill.
Tech Mastery Core[]
