A Premium Hero Crystal is a Crystal. Premium Hero Crystals guarantee a Tier 2-4 Champion, but are notorious for giving Tier 2 duplicates.

New Champions are added into the Premium Hero Crystal some time after being fought for in an Arena; notable exceptions include Deadpool, who you have to buy with real money, and Iron Fist (Immortal), who is exclusive to Max Signature Ability Crystals.
